Encounter friendly gelada baboons and marvel at the breathtaking Jinbar Falls. Enjoy a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony in the welcoming village of Gich before camping for the night.
- Evening: Gich Camspite
- Morning: Embark on a challenging but rewarding trek to Chennek, passing through the stunning Gich Plateau. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including the majestic Inataye. Keep an eye out for the endemic walia ibex, a rare and endangered species.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Chennek, a prime spot for observing walia ibex. Set up camp and enjoy the tranquility of the mountain environment.
- Evening: Chenek Campsite
- Morning: Hike to Ras Bwahit, the second-highest peak in Ethiopia. Enjoy breathtaking views and the possibility of spotting the elusive Ethiopian wolf.
- Afternoon: Descend to the starting point and drive back to Gondar, reflecting on your incredible adventure through the Simien Mountains.
